DETAIL SPECIFICATION
ROPE, FIBROUS, CLIMBING TYPE, NYLON
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers nylon rope used for mountaineering operations.
1.2 Classification. The rope will be furnished in the following sizes as specified (see 6.2):
Sizes (Circumference)
3/4 inch
1-1/8 inches
1-1/4 inches
1-1/2 inches
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

standard. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this standard or recommended
